About My Clients
I love working with teens, families, and individuals. My specialty is anger management, caretakers, depression, and trauma. Understanding ourselves, rather than shaming or judging, is part of the work we can do together. Knowledge is seriously powerful stuff! Without compassionate self-knowledge, we can feel lost in the dark with our mental health. There shouldn't be any shame in giving or receiving help!
My Background and Approach
Every client that steps through my door has innate wisdom on how to heal themselves; the problem is sometimes getting out of our way to see the path of health. I love coaching and being a cheerleader/positive encourager and a supportive and active listener. I'm not here to judge but to hold space for you and whatever you need to process with an empathic ear. Therapy can sometimes also be challenging. Feeling brave enough to be vulnerable can be overwhelming and scary. That's what I am here for! To ensure you don't get lost in that dark, or if you do, you're not alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe compassion is invincible! Life happens in phases and moments, and sometimes we need a therapist's help to guide us through, and sometimes we can do it ourselves once we have the tools to do so! I want you to feel empowered, strong enough to stand on your own, and brave enough to walk through my door when life takes you under. On a personal note, I am an active vegan, a mama bear, a supporter of students and their freedom from debt, a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood and everyone's right to body autonomy, and a huge Harry Potter and Disney nerd!
